ASU only invited maybe 10-15 in-state players to its Junior Day. This a departure from past years, at least since I have been tracking it, in that they didn't invite a large group of in-state players.
I understand the logic here but I think that the number should have been higher.

Andrus Peat was offered by Oregon State

Do the Peat brothers want to play together in college?
Posted on 4/1 2:45 PM | IP: Logged
Andrus told me where Todd goes is where Todd goes. I think it would help that school but not lock it up. If ASU gets Todd it would probably mean more because Todd would be down the road. If Todd went to Nebraska I think it would not have as much impact.

The Texas Rivals site is reporting Christian Westerman has committed to Texas.

They were very high on the Longhorns each time we spoke - so no super surprise there.

They just text me the other day saying they were going to attend an ASU event coming up. Interesting.

Just spoke with them. Interesting process. Christian wants the recruiting process behind him so he can focus on the upcoming season.
We are going to sit down sometime soon and discuss all the inside details of what the process was like, and why he pulled the trigger before most expected he would.

Known ASU in-state Junior Day invites offered already Westerman - was coming but not now Hobbi - attending AndreY - probably not Carey - unknown Fisher - attending Hundley - unsure Peat - attending Latu - attending
Not offered yet but invited Jordan Morgan - attending Ryan Nowicki - attending Tyler Bode - attending Tyler Johnston Cedric Parker Shaq Jenkins
still working on confirming who was invited and attending

Wasn't Jebron Harrington offered by SDSU?

Yes, he was, my bad, sometimes the late night code writing is imperfect

Mo Latu told me Texas AM is showing love, ASU still is probably the team to beat for him.

That Morgan picture you used on the front page is crazy good.
Posted on 4/13 8:42 PM | IP: Logged
Sounds like Morgan is ASU's to have if an offer comes in.

Tyler Bode will be down at ASU today, Nowicki tomorrow.
Story probably coming on both. One on Basha WR Dejzon Walker, GRob's cousin, tonight.

Washington State makes number 1 for Ryan Nowicki

Nowicki, Bode and Fisher all have been down to ASU this week.
Stretz is doing a much better job as recruiting coordinator, I can tell ASU is actually being more aggressive and making a good impression with the in-state practice visits. Besides AndreY and Carey all the players with offers have been down at least once so far as well as a second group of top kids they are going to offer sooner or later.
