Paul had a huge day yesterday at the 7-on-7 tournament going up against Hamilton, Basha, Pinnacle and Flowing Wells.
After his performance they met with him and his parents and his first offer was made.

I hear your kid continues his stellar performances Sarah. Any chance he stays close to home?

I am surprised Paul didn't commit. I had thought this was his top choice.

He's very interested in ASU - they have talked to him several times. He has about ten or so other programs I assume that will begin offering as well.
NAU is another local school he's been in close contact with.
Arizona has been his childhood favorite team, so I'm sure they are high on the list.

I said the same thing - surprised he did not commit on the spot to UofA! (because I know how much they love the wildcats) But he is so talented and flown somewhat under the radar for whatever reasons - now that he has one, I am sure more will come soon - he is uber talented at both WR and safety, and frankly, could be a solid QB as well!
I was proud of Jalen on Saturday - had a great day but more so because he was a vocal leader at the end when they lost and that role has been a little intimidating as of yet for him, but I see him maturing into it
No clue where he will end up - truly - so many things to consider and so much time still before that kind of decision is made

Elvira and Marcos have the ASU 7-on-7 this week, followed up by NAU next week. He's very high on playing in-state and he should make a commitment by the end of the month.

Sounds like he will be a Wildcat

Foster is working him hard on ASU, if they offer. Those two are very close. He has more ties to ASU than Arizona at this point.
I was told Brugmann's father will be at ASU Friday night watching Marcos because he is hoping an offer for Elvira comes also. Which is another clear indication Bruggman is Tempe bound.
They all are close (Foster, Bruggman, Elvira) with a long history together.
Elvira's also improving his speed and quickness with some solid off season work - ran a 4.55 and hit a 32" vertical last weekend in Tucson - so things in that area are heading in the right direction.
I know Devil fans are hoping for Willis, but that is most likely not going to happen.
