Hamilton's High school's fourth-ever head coach in their storied history will be Michael Zdebski, formerly of Walled Lake Western High in Walled Lake, Michigan.
Zdebski has been head coach at Walled Lake since 1998, the year that Hamilton opened. He won a state championship at the school in 1999, and has gone on to 17 playoff appearances and six district championnships.
The hire is pending Chandler Unified School Board Approval.
Hamilton High School has seven state championships over the last 20 years, two under John Wrenn, and five under Steve Belles, who was let go amidst an ongoing hazing scandal. Last season, Dick Baniszewski served as interim head coach.
