Mesa Mt. View: DB Alex Salas, LB Daniel Clemons, DL Taylor Kleinman and DL Buddy Koozer
Game overview
Mountain View can put points on the board. During their last two match ups they put up a combined 108 total points. Quarterback Alex Harris is where it all starts for the Toros. He threw for four touchdowns and scored on a 43-yard run last week. On the defensive side they have only allowed an average of 8 points a game. They will force fumbles and cause opposing offenses to make mistakes. This will be their first real challenge of the season. Brophy is a solid team on both sides of the ball. Their only loss came in the second week against Hamilton. They will be well rested coming into this game after their bye week. It will all come down to who can dominate in the trenches, and which defense can step up and make some big plays.
Predictions
Galarza: Mesa Mt. View 21-17
Perryman: BROPHY 28-27
Rattay: BROPHY 21-17

Players to watch on defense

Salpointe: DE Lucas Gregor, DE Kevin Grenier, MLB Moses Roberts, OLB Chris Miller and SS Martin Rodriguez
Game overview
This cross-town rivalry has quickly become one of Southern Arizona's best. Each year these teams bring their "A" game despite their previous record. There is no championship on the line, only bragging rights. What Sunnyside lacks in size they make up for in toughness, heart and great coaching. Coming into the season it was thought that Sunnyside might struggle due to the loss of many of last year's starters, but the Blue Devils have yet to disappoint. Salpointe has surprised many being 1-2 thus far, but this is a rebuilding year for them. Their offense has struggled only putting up an average of 11 points a game. Their defense will have to carry them if they want to beat Sunnyside. But, can they stop all of Sunnyside's offense weapons? Around 5,000 viewers are expected to be in attendance Thursday night.
Predictions
Galarza: SUNNYSIDE 31-14
Perryman: SUNNYSIDE 35-21
Rattay: SALPOINTE 14-7

4A-I
No. 7 Cienega (2-1) @ No. 9 Agua Fria (2-1)
Last week: Cienega beat Douglas 32-0, Agua Fria lost to Saguaro 56-0
Players to watch on offense
Cienega: QB Seth Mejias-Brean, RB Billy Barrazza, RB Victor Short, OL Zach DaVila and OL Greg Taylor
Agua Fria: OG Ian Blazek, OG Brian Espinoza, QB Nick Newberry, ATH Derrick Ross and TE Jesse Fleming
Players to watch on defense
Cienega: DL Zach DaVila, LB Greg Taylor, LB Wes Knight, DB David Abeyta and LB Victor Short
Agua Fria: FS Paul Patterson, MLB Paul Amparan, OLB Chris Ferrar, DB Derrick Ross and DL Sean Valesquez
Game overview
Cienega's only lost came in week two against Chaparral in overtime. Just the fact that they were able to hang with the Firebirds answered a lot of questions for this Cienega team that lost many starters from last year. Last week Agua Fria was shut out by Saguaro, being held to only 22 yards rushing. Offensively, the Owls have struggled only managing to score an average of 10 points a game.
Predictions
Galarza: CIENEGA 28-14
Perryman: CIENEGA 24-17
Rattay: AGUA FRIA 28-7
